“A little rock ‘n roll, a little country, a little swamp, a little psychedelic, a little roots, a little blues, and a whole lot of chutzpah…” is how the band Copper Chief describes their self-titled debut album. That formula has resulted in an unapologetic sound that has created a sincere bond between bandmates who are having the time of their lives. Widely known for their stint in the USA Network television show Real Country (on which Travis Tritt championed the band), Copper Chief’s album is riddled with edgy guitars, whisky-laced vocals and boogie sing-along lyrics. With songs like “Down to the River” and “Jericho,” Copper Chief takes hold of its listeners in a whole new way when the group hits the live stage.
