With a suitcase in one hand and a guitar in the other, James Cook is the working man’s Americana artist. Based in Wichita Falls, he recently won the Rattle Magazine Singer/Songwriter Competition and recorded at the legendary Fort Worth Sound for the Rattle Studio Sessions. Cook has two EPs under his belt and is gearing up for the release of his next, called Failure’s Not an Option.
